SYNOPSIS

His name is Ilich Ramírez Sánchez but everybody calls him Carlos. For two decades he was a phantom, the most wanted terrorist on earth. Manipulated by Arab secret services, protected by the Eastern Bloc, he headed a worldwide organisation responsible for spectacular killings and bombings such as the hijacking of the OPEC conference in ’75. This is the story of his rise and fall, a professional revolutionary, playboy, dandy and assassin who was snatched from ignominious exile in Sudan to answer for his crimes in France. This is the story of Carlos the Jackal.
