We are proud to announce that Vanessa Redgrave and Joely Richardson\u00a0will star in Julien Landais ASPERN PAPERS.\u00a0The adaptation of the Henry James novel of the same name will be\u00a0Julien Landais feature film\u00a0directorial\u00a0debut.<\/p>\n
Cohen Media will distribute the film in the U.S., Carnaby International will handle the international rights\u00a0and\u00a0Film House Germany\u2019s Gabriela Bacher will produce with Landais under his Princeps Films label.\u00a0Joey Richardson,\u00a0James Ivory, Francois Sarkozy, Charles S. Cohen and Film House Germany\u2019s Christian Angermayer and Klemens Hallmann are executive producing. Gary Rubin, EVP of Cohen Media Group, will serve as an associate producer.<\/p>\n
The story takes place in Venice in 1885\u00a0and\u00a0centers on a young writer who tries to get his hands on letters\u00a0the romance poet Jeffrey Aspern wrote to his mistress, who is still alive.<\/p>\n
